Paula Tognarelli Reviews PRC Member Portfolios, 8/13/18

     

    Paula Tognarelli, Executive Director & Curator, Griffin Museum of Photography, will review the portfolios of five PRC members on Monday, August 13th, from 1-5 p.m., at Lesley University’s Lunder Arts Center.

    About the Reviewer

    Paula Tognarelli is the Executive Director & Curator of the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, MA, where she has worked for 15 years.

    In addition to her Griffin work, Paula has juried and curated copious exhibitions worldwide as well as served as an invited juror for national and international exhibitions, festivals, prizes, fellowships, and grants. A regular participant in national and local portfolio reviews, she is also a nominator for the Prix Pictet in Switzerland; the Heinz Prize, Harvard’s Robert Gardner Fellowship; St. Botolph Club Foundation; MOPA Triennial; Kyoto Prize; and the Rappaport Prize in Massachusetts.

    Paula is currently on the advisory boards of the New England School of Photography and Mount Ida College. She holds an MS in Arts Administration from Boston University, a BA from Regis College, is a graduate of the New England School of Photography, and a candidate for a Masters in Education at Lesley University.     Founded in 1992, the Griffin Museum houses three galleries; maintains three satellite gallery spaces; hosts several virtual on-line galleries; and produces a variety of educational and outreach programs. The Griffin produces the Annual Focus Awards and will again be working with the PRC to organize the New England Portfolio Reviews.

    PRC REVIEWS THROUGH OCTOBER:

    In the coming months, PRC members have wide-ranging opportunities to apply for a portfolio review by highly experienced and well respected experts. Coming up:

    October 15:  Shana Dumont Garr, Curator, Fruitlands  Museum/The Trustees

    Members are allotted one review per year; sign up starts two weeks before review date. To get the most benefit from your portfolio review, check the particular reviewer’s background and request to meet with those who best fit the art and objectives of your work.
