‘Street Photography’ with Hank Hauptmann, 6/12/18

Join us Tuesday, June 12th for a lively evening of conversation, photo viewing, and connection on the theme of street photography, hosted by guest presenter Hank Hauptmann. We’ll be returning this month to the Washington Street Gallery for a special Night. Thanks to the Washington Art Center for hosting us!

Nights at the PRC are evenings of conversation that are free and open to all. A guest host selects a theme and leads with a presentation of their work. PRC members have the opportunity to show their own work related to that night’s theme and to garner feedback. We provide some food and drink, and everyone is welcome to bring refreshments, too.

Find out more about PRC Nights here, including how to sign up to present your work and what to bring.

    ABOUT THE NIGHT:
Do you explore elements of the everyday or push the boundaries of street photography? Whether you mine your regional surroundings or venture far afield, street photography has a long history. How has street photography changed today and what new challenges and responsibilities does a 21st century photographer have in this genre? If your work fits and the topic is of interest to you, consider signing up to share your work at this PRC Night or attending this exciting program!

The PRC invites presenters to sign up and share a body of work (sign up procedures below) and audience members (FREE!) are welcome to engage and discuss the series, issues, and ideas. After a presentation by our host, we’ll hear from and begin a conversation about presenters’ work in a casual and supportive environment.
