Erin Becker Reviews PRC Member Portfolios, 7/30/18

    We’re excited to announce our next PRC Portfolio Review! 

    Erin Becker, Director of the Cambridge Art Association, will review the portfolios of five PRC members on Monday, July 30th, from 1-5 p.m., at Lesley University’s Lunder Arts Center.

    PRC Portfolio Reviews bring a variety of voices to the table and aim to provide helpful feedback and added exposure. Portfolio reviews are a benefit of PRC membership. Read more about the program and how to apply for a review here.

    About the Reviewer

    Erin Becker is the Norma Jean Calderwood Director of the Cambridge Art Association in Cambridge, MA and has worked at CAA for 14 years.  Founded in 1944 by a group of artists, CAA the currently maintains two gallery spaces for exhibitions, Kathryn Schultz Gallery and University Place Gallery, and the as well as five satellite spaces.  Until August 2015, CAA was a juried members association and it is now open to all.  In addition to a variety of curated and juried exhibitions, CAA offers professional development programs, including portfolio reviews and networking events, as well as a youth outreach program and collaborative relationships with local organizations.

    In addition to her work at CAA, Becker serves on the Board of Directors of the Harvard Square Business Association and Advisory Board for Cambridge Open Studios; she is also a co-founder of the Art Centers Alliance, a group of roughly 25 community arts leaders. Becker holds a BA in Art History from Boston University and a Certificate from BU’s Institute for Nonprofit Management Leadership Core Program at Questrom Business School.

    Members are allotted one review per year; sign up is two weeks before review date.
